The murder case of former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was adjourned on Thursday afternoon and postponed to 30 May.
This is after one of the defence counsels working with Advocate Malesela Teffo claimed that they were no longer safe and there had been threats to arrest Teffo.
Immediately after the adjournment, Adv Dan Teffo was handcuffed and arrested by the police inside the courtroom.
Media reports suggest that Teffo has been arrested for missing a court appearance in an unrelated case.
Advocate Teffo represents four of the accused in the Senzo Meyiwa trial. Sergeant Thabo Mosia is the only witness who has taken a stand.
