How ex-Bucs duo secured new international partnership
Former Orlando Pirates duo of Oupa Manyisa and Brighton Mhlongo are making big moves as they announced a new collaboration with a global sports clothing and nutrition brand, 90minsplus.
The MyFootballCV initiative co-founders set in motion their partnership with 90minsplus on Tuesday at Botanic Gardens in Durban.
Issa Al Noobi Al Saad, the director of 90minsplus, has explained how and why he got into a partnership with Manyisa and Mhlongo.
“We are so happy to partner with Oupa and Brighton. We followed them and observed their activities before partnering with them. Their activities are related to ours, promote healthy living, and align with our brand and what we stand for,” Noobi Al Saad told FARPost.
“We are providing health products, and I am 100% sure that we are doing to succeed with them. They will run some exhibitions and competitions to promote the partnership and the importance of eating healthy.
“This is my first time in South Africa, in fact, Africa, so I saw how Oupa and Brighton are loved here in SA, especially by the youth; they are energetic people and Simon [Thabiso Ramosoeu, Founder CEO], my partner told me about them, and I followed their work on Instagram and the moment I saw their activities I knew that they were the right people to partner with and I also saw videos about them, so we are going to succeed,” he concluded.
