AmaZulu announce new recruits
AmaZulu have confirmed the signings of six players ahead of the 2022/23 season.
This comes after Usuthu released 15 players last week Tuesday.
The six are Gabadinho Mhango (forward), Augustine Kwem (forward), Dumisani Zuma (winger), Riaan Hanamub (defender), Veluyeke Zulu (defender) and Thendo Mukumela (defender).
Meanwhile, Usuthu awaits the conclusion of a further signing of two players and the promotion of two players from the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) whom they will reveal in due course.
When all has been concluded, the KwaZulu-Natal outfit’s average age will be 25 years. The 15 players’ age average who were shown the exit door was 30 years.
The club insists that it wants to build the core of the team with the “capacity to compete in the forthcoming season and beyond.”
