A Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder is facing an uncertain future at the club due to lack of enough playing time, writes Robert Matakanye.
According to a source close to the Chloorkop-based side, Sundowns are considering sending Lesedi Kapinga out on loan to revive his career.
Kapinga has struggled for game time at Sundowns since his arrival at the club from Black Leopards in 2020.
With the Chloorkop outfit having recently completed the signing of Sipho Mbule to add him to the likes of Gaston Sirino, Themba Zwane and Lebogang Maboe in Downs’ engine room, Kapinga could be set for a daunting task in fighting for regular game-time if he stays for another season with the club.
Kapinga managed only eight appearances for Sundowns last season despite having arrived with a lot of promise.
