Bafana draw first blood in CHAN Qualifiers
Bafana Bafana have defeated Comoros 1-0 in the first leg of the CHAN Qualifiers at the Stade de Maluzini on Friday.
The victory puts South Africa in good stead ahead of their second leg of the Qualifiers.
Neither Bafana nor Comoros have been able to break through in an end-to-end first half.
In the second half, one team wanted to spoil; the other wanted to play. While the home side were determined to make the contest as dull as possible, Helman Mkhalele gave the Bafana freedom to express themselves.
However, the game opened up as the second stanza began to draw to a close, making the game good viewing for spectators in the stands.

The final whistle blew with Bafana claiming the first leg advantage away from home.
The return leg will be played on July 30 at Dobsonville Stadium.
