Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has vowed that visiting team at FNB Stadium will donate points following the club’s 2-1 win over SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership on Saturday evening in Soweto.
The Soweto giants had to come back from behind to seal all three points, with new signing Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana finding the back of the net for the first time since joining the Naturena-based side.
Bimenyimana scored a brace for Amakhosi to cancel out SuperSport’s Grant Margeman opener.
Zwane wants to turn FNB Stadium into a slaughterhouse as the Amakhosi coach continues to try and build a good team that will challenge for honours.
Prior to the Matsatsantsa game, Zwane was under pressure as Amakhosi had not won in the league in their last three matches.
“We want to win every game that we play, the SuperSport was not a must-win game for us, every game is a must-win, not only this one,” Zwane told the media at FNB.
“Look, we have to build on something, we are a work in process.
“And in order for us to get things right we have to do one thing right; yes we are not going to win all the games.
“But we have to make sure that people understand that when they come to FNB, they come to Kaizer Chiefs, and they are coming here to drop points or to donate points.
“And that’s where we should start. We are not going to fix everything at once but will take things one step at a time,” added Zwane.
With the win over SuperSport, Zwane’s troops moved to 9th place on the log standings with three victories, three defeats and two draws from eight games.
The Soweto giants will now switch their attention to the quarterfinals of the MTN8, where they are set to take on AmaZulu over two-legs with the first leg on 01 October.
