All you need to know about Senzo Mbatha’s successor at Yanga
Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC have acquired the services of Zambian football administrator Andre Mtine as the club’s new CEO.
Mtine replaces maverick administrator Senzo Mbatha who tendered his resignation in late July this year.
In an interview with FARPost earlier this year, Mbatha had indicated he was eager to return home [South Africa] after three years in the East African country.
Without a doubt, Mtine has big shoes to fill as Mbatha left the side having guided the club to an unprecedented treble – which includes the Community Shield, Azam Federation Cup and the NBC Premier League title, an extraordinary feat they achieved without tasting defeat.
Yanga, as they are popularly known, believes Mtine’s experience will help them a lot and continue with the good work that Mbatha has done during his stay at the club.
