Maritzburg United: John Maduka out, Fadlu Davids in?
John Maduka looks set to leave Maritzburg United with immediate effect, with Fadlu Davids linked with a return to the club.
Maduka’s position was believed to have been the subject of an emergency board meeting following their 5-0 capitulation against Mamelodi Sundowns last Tuesday.
FARPost reported last week that The Team of Choice appeared sure to part company with Maduka after a string of poor results.

It is understood that the club’s management, led by chairman Farook Kadodia, has sealed his fate.
Maritzburg are yet to make an announcement, with indications that they could issue a statement this week.
“We’re hoping it’s true they are talking to Fadlu Davids. We’d be happy if he comes back,” a player who requested anonymity said.
The writing was on the wall for Maduka when he lost the KZN derby against Golden Arrows 2-0 on Friday.
Players are said to have registered their unhappiness with the coach, with some citing favouritism. “The chairman actually told him in front of players last week that there were young players he was not using. Chairman felt the young players were working hard at training, but he was not giving them a chance,” another source said.
With the league set to go for the World Cup break, Maritzburg have given their players time off and will resume training on 15 November.
