Teams continues to show their class in ABC Motsepe League

The ABC Motsepe League’s all-important weekend fixtures were in full swing, with teams continuing to show their class for the South African football third-tier title honours. 

Teams continue to show their determination as they go all out to secure enough points before the league start heating up and stand a good chance of gaining promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Mamelodi Newcastle humiliated Casric 6-0 on their own turf to get three vital points in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League. 

As a result, Newcastle are placed 10th in the table with six points, six points behind log leader, Jomo Cosmos.

Meanwhile, in Mpumalanga, Kabokweni Future Stars succumbed to a 5-0 drubbing to the high-flying Destiny College at home. 

The victory sees Destiny consolidate their top spot with 13 points in Stream B of the provincial ABC League. Three-point ahead of second-placed Gembok Classic. They have each played five games thus far.
