Bale’s recovery from injury hands Wales a boost

Wales have received a major boost ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup set to be hosted in Qatar in the next coming weeks.

Talisman Gareth Bale has recovered from injury and is set to feature in the world’s elite football competition.

Wales coach Rob Page revealed the good news in an interview with Sky Sports as preparations for the finals are now heating up.

Since parting ways with La Liga giants Real Madrid, Bale has been struggling for fitness at Los Angeles.

He has only made 10 appearances with two starts to his name.

“He’s fine, I’ve had conversations with him and he’s okay.

Bale is at the age now where he has to manage his body,” Page told Sky Sports.

“But the most important thing was to get through. I give my all. I was running on empty.”
