Baroka confirm the departure of coach Vincent Kobola
Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka have officially confirmed the departure of coach Vincent Kobola and a few other players.
Kobola has been in charge of Bakgaga since the beginning of the current season.
He took over from Kgoloko Thobejane towards the end of last season before Baroka’s relegation from the DStv Premiership.
Kobola also struggled to get the desired results in the second-tier league and Baroka recently appointed Bushy Moloi as his replacement. It is a second stint for Moloi at the club having recently occupied the assistant coach position.
VINCENT KOBOLA AND BAROKA PART WAYS
The club released a statement on Thursday also confirming the departure of Jackson Mabokgwane, Nkosinathi Ononogbu, Jarry Msane and Decide Chauke.
“Baroka FC can confirm that we have parted ways with head coach Vincent Kobola on mutual agreement,” said the club.
“We would like to thank Vincent Kobola for everything he did for the club. We wish him all the best in the future, he will forever remain a Moroka.
“The club has appointed Bushy Moloi as head coach,” they announced.
“We can also confirm that we also parted ways with the following players: Jerry Msane, Decide Chauke, Jackson Mabokgwane and Nkosinathi Ononogbu.”
As it was previously reported by FARPost, Ononogbu has been released after playing in a Kasi tournament without the clubs’ permission.
Msane was released due to performance issues while Mabokgwane and Chauke requested to be released.
This publication has gathered that there could be more departures in the club in the coming few days.
New coach Bushy Moloi is said to have told the club management that he wants to rebuild the squad.

Meanwhile, the club is set to conduct trials for aspiring players from 11-12 December. The trials will take place at Seleteng, Ga-Mphahlele in Limpopo for players under the age of 23.
They will start at 09:00 on each day and players are required to bring their own kit and ID book.
