AL AHLY COACH MARCEL KOLLER SHOWS FAITH IN TAU
Al Ahly coach did not change the starting XI that included Percy Tau who scored in the previous match against Ghazl El-Mahalla last week.
Koller had last week praised Tau following his decent display against Ghazl El-Mahalla.
Al Ahly won last week’s game 2-0.
“The player [Tau] was injured, so it was necessary for him to get a chance for me to see him,” Koller told the media.
“I knew that Tau could play as a striker, and he played very well, but he wasn’t 100% fit yet due to him returning from an injury.”
It was for this reason that Koller shown faith in the former Mamelodi Sundowns star by putting him in the starting line-up.
Tau scored alongside Yasser Ibrahim and Akram Tawfik who also put their names on the scoresheet against the Alexandria-based team.
