St Louis City official makes bold promise to Kaizer Chiefs, fans react 

St. Louis City SC Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel has made a bold promise to Kaizer Chiefs and its supporters that the Major League Soccer [MLS] side will take good care of Njabulo Blom

The MLS side Sporting Director has spoken for the first time after they confirmed the acquisition of the Soweto giants’ product on Friday night.

Pfannenstiel has reassured Amakhosi and its faithful that they want nothing but the best for the 23-year-old midfielder. 

Blom has penned a two-year contract with City, where he will be under the guidance of former Bafana Bafana star Bradley Carnell. 

The deal will have him stay at the club until 2024, with a two-year year option to extend the contract.

“Thank you, Kaizer Chiefs, for your help to make this transfer a reality,” Pfannenstiel twitted on his official Twitter account. 

“I promise all Chiefs fans that Bradley Carnell and I will look after your boy!

“We at St. Louis City SC are very excited to sign with Njabulo Blom, one the best players from South Afrika!

Let’s go, Amakhosi.
