Reneilwe Letsholonyane reacts to being appointed AmaZulu U17 coach

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane has voiced his feelings following his appointment as AmaZulu FC Under 17 head coach.

He was among the youth development academy coaches that were unveiled by Usuthu on Thursday afternoon.

The club presented a programme called Project 2032 where it outlined its plans for the newly restructured youth academy and also revealed its nine-year vision.

Letsholonyane, who was one of the familiar faces in the unveiling, says while he’ll be preparing young talent for the future, it’s an opportunity to thrive as an individual.

“I’m here because I was given an opportunity to start afresh,” Letsholonyane told the media.

“So, I don’t know anyone, I don’t know any player, I’m not gonna influenced by anyone.

“So whatever decision I’m going to make, it is my decision, if I fail if I win, it’ll be my decision.

“And also for me, it’s an opportunity to grow without any influences without anyone telling me who to play or pick or what to do.

“So, it’s sorely me coming here starting my career out of the comfort of Joburg or of my team.

“Try to make myself better, also better the players.”

Following the end of his short spell with TS Galaxy, he started doing his coaching badges.

He’s been managing his team called Pimville Young Stars which reportedly plays in the SAB league in the SAFA Johannesburg region.

Letsholonyane says he’s looking forward to furthering his coaching qualifications before long.
