Morgan Mammila’s plan to eliminate Polokwane City in Nedbank Cup
Chippa United coach coach Morgan Mammila had revealed how they will approach their Nedbank Cup last 32 encounter against Polokwane City on Tuesday night, 14 February.
The Chilli Boys and Polokwane will battle it out for the last available spot in the last 16 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium at 19:30.
Both clubs failed to make the last 16 stage last season after being eliminated in the last 32 round.
Speaking to the media ahead of the match Mammila says the club’s intention is to fight for everything possible in the PSL.

“To be honest we are a big team and we need to win everything that is on offer,” said Mammila.
“One thing for sure, we are a team that wants to win everything. You can see in how we play now we are a team that competes in each and every department.
“We owe the Chippa United family and the supporters some silverware. How do we get there ? We have to win this kind of a match. I can put my head on the block, we are playing a very difficult team,” added Mammila.

“I was down there with Baroka and just know the feeling of Polokwane City now. One thing’s for sure we are not going to entertain their emotions, we are going to respect them as a team.”
It has been raining over the past few days in Polokwane. But the charismatic coach hopes the weather will allow them to play their way.
“We are going to play Chippa United way and try our level best to kill their confidence. How do we kill their confidence? Through position, I just hope and pray that the rain must stop so that we can have a free flowing match.”
