Kaizer Chiefs new striker Christian Saile Basomboli has revealed his desire to score more goals for his club.
Basomboli got off to a bright start in the PSL with the Soweto giants. In three matches he has played so far, he has scored a goal and provided an assist.
The striker will be aiming to replicate his incredible form at Nchanga Rangers, where he scored 19 goals to help the club gain promotion to the Zambian Super League.
BASOMBOLIโS MAIN GOAL AT CHIEFS
The striker intends to help the team by scoring more goals for Amakhosi.
โI have played in three games so far and have a goal and an assist, so it is good but I’m not yet finished,โ Basomboli told the clubโs media department.

โWeโve got another game on Sunday [against Golden Arrows] and I have to score a lot more goals for this team. As a forward you always want to get off the mark when you join a new club because that is what they brought you to do so.
โWhen the coach told me I was starting in the next game, it gave me a lot of confidence and now that I scored a goal I want to go out and score more.โ
ON RETURNIBG TO PETER MOKABA STADIUM
Basomboli further revealed that heโs ready to play again at Peter Mokaba Stadium against Golden Arrows where he had his debut.
โIโm looking forward to playing there again. I have a good memory from my first game there. Itโs a beautiful stadium and the supporters were fantastic and we are going to give 100% for them this Sunday,โ he added.
Basomboli is in line to start the match for Chiefs on Sunday as Caleb-Bonfils Bimenyimana is out with an injury.
Kickoff is at 3:30pm.
