ABC Motsepe League continues to produce scintillating showdowns
The ABC Motsepe League continues to produce scintillating action across the country with teams gunning for the national playoffs spots.
This past weekend’s display was proof enough that the SA third-tier league will go down to the wire as teams in the race to gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship are eager to reach the playoffs.
Whereas other matches proved to be a mixed bag of results, as the amateur league continues to live up to all sorts of drama.
Upington City has cemented their top spot in Stream A of the Northern Cape ABC League after defeating Olifantshoek Young Stars 1-0 at home.
City has now amassed 26 points from 11 outings.
Meanwhile, in the North West province, Som United are still in the title chase after beating Thaba Tshwane 3-0 on their own turf.
