Last week, Hlongwane was also the Man of the Match and scored the only goal for Minnesota to play out a 1-1 draw with New York Red Bulls. A game that was played under snow flurries at Allianz Field.

Currently, Minnesota are placed fifth in the Western Conference table with seven points after three games.

The club’s next assignment will be against Vancouver on Sunday, 26 March 2023.

The kick-off is set for 2:30am [SA time]

Hlongwane’s side are yet to taste a defeat so far and would like to continue with their momentum as the season progresses.
