Which Bafana Bafana star is a source of inspiration for Thapelo Maseko
SuperSport United left-winger Thapelo Maseko has revealed the Bafana Bafana star that has become a source of inspiration for him.
The 20-year-old got promoted to the first team this season after impressing in the DStv Diski Challenge in the previous campaign.
Maseko, who is aiming to play abroad, says he looks up to Percy Tau, who has had stints with various clubs in different countries in Europe.
He says, at times, he does get a chance to have conversations with the Al Ahly star about football life abroad.

“I draw inspiration from players like Percy Tau because he plays the same position,” he told SAFA.net.
“I look at most of his games and try to learn from him because he is a good player who made his mark abroad. Whenever I get a chance to chat with him, I ask him about life on the other side of the world (playing overseas).”
Maseko is yet to get a Bafana Bafana call-up. However, he is currently representing the SA under-23.
He scored Amaglug-glug’s equaliser when they were trailing 1-0 to Congo in the first leg on Thursday at the Dobsonville Stadium.
He described his first international goal as a “special” one.
“It was a special goal for me, and it was my first international goal, but it was a bigger goal for the team to bring us level going into the second leg of the tie.”
Maseko, at a young age, has become a regular for Matsatsantsa A Pitori. Gavin Hunt, who usually prefers playing with the veterans, seems to trust the lad.
In 19 games he has played in all competitions, he has scored three goals and provided one assist thus far.
