Mokoena will be unavailable for selection as he will be serving a one match suspension. He picked up three yellow cards, getting cautioned against Al Ahly [in separate two matches] and Al Hilal.
TEBOHO MOKOENA’S QUALITY
The Bafana Bafana international has been key and consistent for Masandawana this season whenever in the pitch, bossing the midfield. In some matches, he has been given the captain’s armband.
His quality led the mentor to single him out for praise as ‘one of the best in Africa’ a while ago. This season in the champions league, Mokoena has made six appearances of a possible seven and scored one goal.

The 26-year-old’s absence might be a blessing in disguise for other midfielders like Sipho Mbule who wants to prove them themselves on the pitch.
“We got a couple of options, we will see, we got very good midfielders we will try a few options we did a bit of work around one or two options,” said Mokwena.
“Of course Sipho [Mbule] is one of those options, we might have to play without a six, but a deep line playmaker instead of a six.
“We may change a little bit, but the principles remain the same. We will see on Saturday what we do on that position.”
Mbule has been struggling to made a breakthrough to the starting line-up since he joined the club.
The 25-year-old has made 20 appearances in all competitions mostly coming in as a substitute.
