FOUR THINGS SPOTTED AT AMAZULU TRAINING AFTER AYANDA DLAMINI TOOK OVER
- Romain Folz not part of the team
As expected, ‘Fohloza’ was not part of the team as the club’s president Sandile Zungu was clear that the 32-year-old mustn’t interfere with the day-to-day running of the club.
The French-Moroccan will advise the president on the technical side when it comes to the club’s Vision 2032.

George Maluleka returned to training after he collapsed on Saturday night during their match against Swallows.
Moreover, the club confirmed on Sunday that the midfielder was discharged from the hospital after a number of tests were conducted.
- Keagan Buchanan nowhere to be seen
Buchanan was expected by many to return together with Mphahlele, however, he was not part of the training on Wednesday.,
It is still not clear whether the club is going to recall the Cape Town-born midfielder.
As first reported by FARPost, Mphahlele who had departed the club along with Keagan Buchanan was part of the training on Wednesday.
USUTHU LOOKING TO TURN THE CORNER
AmaZulu will be looking to bounce back after losing their previous three games in all competitions. This includes a defeat to the third-tier side Dondol Stars in the Nedbank Cup Last 16.
The club still has a good chance to make it to the top eight as they are just two points away from the eighth-positioned Stellenbosch FC.
AmaZulu played the MTN8 final this season and lost to Orlando Pirates in November 2022. It was their first final since 2010 when they lost to Bidvest Wits in the Nedbank Cup final.
The KZN side currently occupies the 12th position on the log standings with 28 points in the bag after 24 matches played.
They will lock horns with Cape Town City on Sunday, 09 April at the Cape Town Stadium at 17:30.
