The Motsepe Foundation Championship title race is heating up after Polokwane City reclaimed the top spot while Casric Stars slipped to third place.

POLOKWANE CITY RECLAIM TOP SPOT
Elsewhere, Cape Town Spurs beat Casric Stars 2-0 at Athlone Stadium on Friday. The result threw the title race wide open.
It meant three of the chasing teams for automatic promotion to the DStv Premiership are deadlocked on 50 points. And there are four games left before the season ends.
Stars blew their three points advantage at the top of the Championship table with a loss to Cape Town Spurs.
The Mpumalanga-based side came into the weekend’s fixture with a three-point lead at the top of the table.
AMATUKS CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE FOR FORM
Meanwhile, the University of Pretoria [AmaTuks] continued to struggle for form after playing a 0-0 draw against JDR Stars on Saturday.
AmaTuks were favourites to win the National First Division title after finishing as runners-up to Richards Bay last season.
However, the Tlisane Motaung-coached team have been inconsistent, which resulted in them losing track in the title race.
The Tshwane-based side is currently the seventh with 35 points after 26 games played.
Furthermore, All Stars played an entertaining 2-2 draw against Magesi at Tsakane Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Reports are that All Stars have been put up for sale.
