Marumo Gallants detained duo touch down SA

Marumo Gallants detained duo of team manager Rufus Matsena and therapist Dina Dhlomo have landed safely in South Africa on Monday morning, 10 April 2023.

The Gallants duo that were detained will be reunited with their families as they have set foot on home soil.

This comes after the two Marumo Gallants officials were held hostage in Benghazi, Libya.

The DStv Premiership outfit could not book flight tickets, hotel and other logistics because of Ramadan. This was when they had to play Al Akhdar in a CAF Confederation Cup Group A on the 19th of March 2023.
