TS Galaxy set to part ways with highly-rated midfielder

TS Galaxy is set to part ways with one of their highly-rated midfielders at the end of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

The Rockets have recently been rocked by financial constraints which resulted in public outcry from players and technical team members citing unpaid wages.

Galaxy have been struggling to notch a consistent winning form under the guidance of Sead Ramovic.

They only managed to win six games with 12 draws and seven defeats in 25 games.

Galaxy is positioned 10th on the league table with 30 points accumulated.

Meanwhile, The Mpumalanga-based side have already parted company with Sibusiso Vilakazi during the January transfer window.

With the current season ending in the next two months, indications are that TS Galaxy will part ways with a handful of players.

“We are going to see many movements at the club with some players being bought out their contacts. And some leaving for free.

“So amongst players who are going to be leaving the club is Masilake Phohlongo, his contact will not be renewed.

“At this stage, he’s the only named player who will be leaving the club. But we can expect more departures.” added the source.

Galaxy have lost two of their previous league encounters. As a result, they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they face Royal AM. The game is on Saturday on the 22nd of April 2023.

It remains to be seen which other Galaxy players will be shown the exit door.
