Ex-SuperSport star and Baroka reach agreement for termination
Former SuperSport United midfielder and the Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka FC have reached an agreement for the termination of the contract.
Phumlani Ntshangase has parted ways with Bakgaga ba ga Mphahlele in just less than 12 months since joining the club.
The 28-year-old signed for the Limpopo-based outfit as a free agent in August last year after he was released by Maritzburg United in the previous campaign.
His representative, Sizwe Ntshangase has confirmed that his client is now a free agent and they are looking for employment elsewhere.

“Yes, it is true, he has terminated,” he confirmed to FARPost.
“We came to an agreement because we have to look for a team for Phumlani. There was an issue that we can’t reveal in media.”
The agent says nobody has knocked on their door so far to enquire about the services of the player.
And the Durban-born midfielder is also still recovering from the injury that he had while he was at Baroka.
“There’s no interest at the moment, for now he’s going home because he had some few pains in the injury that he had,” he added.
“So, it was better to go home to recover and for some rehabilitation.”
In September last year, Ntshangase confirmed to this publication that prior to making a surprise move to the second-tier side, there was an interest from the top-flight teams.
He revealed that he was in pre-season with three teams but things didn’t go as planned, hence, he ended up downgrading.
Ntshangase stepped into the limelight having been promoted from Bidvest Wits junior ranks in 2014. He was part of the team that made history, clinching the league title for the first time in the Clever Boys’ history in the 2016/2017 season.
He also helped the club win the Telkom Knockout in the following season.
