In match-day 10 of the Hollywoodbets Super League, Richmond United extended their winning streak as TS Galaxy Queens moved up the log standings.

The overall goals in all eight games over the weekend were 25.

TS Galaxy climbed up the Super League table after beating UJ Ladies 2-1 at home. The Mpumalanga side moved to fourth place, on 21 points, while UJ dropped to fifth place.

HOW RICHMOND EXTENDED WINNING STREAK

First Touch Ladies welcomed Richmond at the Oscar Mpetha Stadium, in Limpopo, on Sunday, 23 April.

Coming into this game, the home team, First Touch, were hoping to improve their form, as they were on a losing streak of three games.

On the other hand, the visitors were looking to stretch their winning run to five games.

Richmond started the game on a high note, with an early goal from Kananelo Taiwa, in the first five minutes.

From there on, Richmond took full control of the game for the entire first half, dominating First Touch in all areas.

By the end of the first half, First Touch had no attempts at goal, with the visitors recording four.

The second half began with the home side dominating possession for about 10 minutes. However, Richmond grew into the game, and picked off where they left off in the first half.

Every time the Northern Cape side had the ball, they looked threatening, with Taiwa, Majiya, and Ntaoleng Dlamini marshalling the attack.

In the 70th minute, Dlamini capitalised from a defensive error from First Touch, and made it 2-0 for Richmond.

Four minutes later, the visitors made it 3-0, from a lovely screamer from Tshepiso Radebe.

Towards the end of the game, the home side got an opportunity to make it 3-1, however, their effort got blocked by their own player.

The game ended 3-0, with Richmond moving to third place on 21 points, while First Touch moved to the bottom of the table on five points.
