The 27-year-old has already won the 2022/23 MTN8 title with Pirates, defeating AmaZulu 1-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium last year November.
‘I CAME HERE TO WIN TROPHIES’
When he was asked if his objective was to continue winning trophies with the club, Sibisi responded: “I think it’s definitely what I came here for, to come and win trophies.”
“And also to try to make history with the club. So, that was one of my objectives when I joined Pirates. I think it’s slowly coming to order now.”
NKOSINATHI SIBISI ON HIS TRANSITIONS FROM GOLDEN ARROWS TO ORLANDO PIRATES
The Bafana Bafana international went on to say the transition from Abafana Bes’thende to Pirates worked out smoothly, as he needed to quickly start the sporting and social adaptation to a new team.
“I think I have actually grown as a player because of the pressure that comes with playing for Orlando Pirates,” He added.
“However, I’m not saying that there’s no pressure where I coming from [Golden Arrows], but here it’s a bigger club, and the fanbase is huge.
“As a player, you have to give your all every time you get a chance because there are good guys waiting for that chance.”
Sibisi continued: “I think I have done well because, coming from Durban, it’s not always easy to come here and be in the starting eleven. So, I think the transition has been good.”
