On-form striker Iqraam Rayners’s shot from inside the box at the half hour mark was also saved by Sekhukhune keeper Badra Ali Sangare. The two semifinal debutants went into the half time break at 0-0.
The hosts were unfortunate upon the resumption of the match when a shot by Devon Titus hit the left post a few minutes later, Rayners also saw his shot from inside the box saved.
