UPDATE FROM THE VFA AND TTM PLS DC CASE

The latest coming from that case is that TTM have withdrawn from the case, meaning VFA are officially off the hook. FARPost has gathered that the reason for the withdrawal is that VFA had presented information that proved their innocence.

HOW ATHINI JODWANA JOINED VFA

Jodwana was initially registered improperly in the beginning and played three games for the game. But upon being made aware, the club quickly deregistered him and amended the errors before they registered him again.

Therefore, VFA would not have been docked enough points for TTM to stand any chance to survive hence the sudden U-turn.

PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu has confirmed that TTM officially withdrew the case on Tuesday.

“Based on the facilitation by myself as a prosecutor having made available to both parties the official records of the league’s registration department. It became apparent that the information on which TTM based its complaint was inaccurate. They themselves conceded that. In the result through their legal representative, voluntarily and formally withdrew such a complaint before the DC panel,” he said.

“The DC confirmed such withdrawal on the record and for the avoidance of doubt.”

Majavu has also confirmed that there are no official complaints before the PSL DC currently.
