Terrence Dzvukamanja addresses Pirates exit talk
In-form attacker Terrence Dzvukamanja has addressed his exit talks at Orlando Pirates.
Dzvukamanja struggled for game time at the start 2022/23 DStv Premiership season at Pirates and had few injury setbacks.
During the January transfer window, his agent Mike Makaab told FARPost that he was planning to get the Zimbabwean international a move away from Pirates.
However, Dzvukamanja has seemingly turned his fortunes around as far as goal scoring is concerned.
The former Bidvest Wits star has played 16 games under the guidance of Jose Riveiro and managed to score six goals while providing one assist.
With Dzvukamanja’s contract at Pirates set to expire at the end of June 2023, the left-footed striker said he was in the dark about a proposed move away from Pirates.

“I wasn’t aware of anything, I was just hearing from people that there are rumours that are trending that I might leave the club but I wasn’t aware,” said Dzvukamanja at Rand Stadium.
“For me I wasn’t thinking about playing to secure my contract because it’s ending, for me it was just about putting the hard work and helping the team,”
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers have been in a good vein of form as they are unbeaten in their last seven games in the league.
Pirates have also booked a spot in the Nedbank Cup final where they’ll face Sekhukhune United at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on the 27th of May; eager to win their second trophy of the season.
The Soweto giants won the 2022 MTN8 title after beating AmaZulu FC in the final at Moses Mabhida Stadium late last year.
Furthermore, Pirates is in contention to finish as runners-up in the league to qualify for the CAF Champions League next season.
The Sea Robbers are currently positioned second on league table with 50 points; two points ahead from third placed SuperSport United, who are also vying for the second spot.
