Zungu highlights changes he has noted at Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu has highlighted the changes he has seen at the club since returning.
‘Been 10’ was re-signed by the Brazilians at the start of this season. This was after the end of his contract with his previous club Amiens SC.
As Sundowns were hoisting the DStv Premiership trophy on Tuesday night, it was his third league title with the club in history. He won the other two in his first stint prior to his move abroad.
Since returning, Zungu says he has noted that the club has elevated its level of professionalism.
He also lauded them for improving training facilities at Chloorkop and the recruitment of quality players.

“A lot [has] changed,” Zungu told SuperSport TV.
“Professionalism has gone to another level, the training facilities, the quality of players.
“Anyone who gets to play for the team, becomes top. A lot has changed.
“It’s been a tough season, the reshuffle with the coaches. But the players have been hardworking.
“And I’m proud to be a Mamelodi Sundowns player.”
In addition, Zungu complemented his teammates for the sense of camaraderie he found in the locker room.
He believes that’s another factor that will lead them to more trophies.
“We’ve got a bunch group of great players,” he added.
“Our dressing room is amazing, we’ve got a brotherhood. And here’s to more and more titles.”
Sundowns will be up against Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League semifinal second leg on Saturday.
As they’re aiming for their second Champions League trophy in history, Zungu is hoping to win his first after it eluded him in 2016. He left the club four months before they won it.
