Huge reshuffle in the admnistration of AmaZulu

With AmaZulu FC revamping their structure for the 2023/24 PSL season, they have reshuffled their administration in the backroom staff.

FARPost has learnt that the club has gotten rid of their General Manager Tshepiso Mofokeng, Team Mananger Qedi Dlamini and Talent Scout Ayanda Mkhize.

HUGE RESHUFFLE IN AMAZULU FC ADMINISTRATION

It is understood the club’s president Sandile Zungu is trying to stir the club in the right direction to align with their Vision 2032.

AmaZulu will be making new appointments soon to fill the vacancies. The changes are not only taking place in the office as they will be making a new coach appointment.

FARPost reported that the club’s caretaker coach Ayanda Dlamini won’t be handed a seat as a head coach. Despite having expressed his interest in taking over, it looks like Dlamini didn’t do enough to impress the club’s hierarchy.

Meanwhile, the club is also set to overhaul its squad with several names rumoured to be heading out. SABC Sport recently revealed that Dumisani Zuma will leave the club at the end of his contract.

This is after AmaZulu decided against triggering option on the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder’s contract.

FIRST SIGNING FOR USUTHU AHEAD OF 2023/24 SEASON

On the other hand, AmaZulu have already signed Celimpilo Ngema on a pre-contract. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder will join the Durban-based club in July.

Ngema had an impressive season at Marumo Gallants and won the club’s Player of the Season award. He helped the Limpopo outfit reach the CAF Confederation when few had given them a chance in the competition.

AmaZulu are expected to make more signings to strengthen their squad especially after a disappointing season they had.

The club changed the coaches three times. Brandon Truter was sacked in October while his successor Romain Folz was removed from the head coach role in April.

Lastly, Dlamini took over and guided the side in the last six games of the league.
