SAFA confirm date for announcement of final Bafana Bafana squad

SAFA have confirmed the date for the announcement of the final Bafana Bafana squad that will square off with Morocco.

The Atlas Lions will touch down in SA to face Hugo Broos’ men in the AFCON qualifiers. The match will take place on 17 June at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Hugo Broos’ charges have already booked their ticket to the continental showpiece that will be held in Ivory Coast next year. It will be their last match of the group stages while Morocco still have to face Liberia.

Last month, the Belgian tactician announced a 34-man preliminary squad and will trim it to 23 players. He’ll then announce the team on Thursday, 8 June.

Meanwhile, the tickets are already on sale at R20. However, the price will revert back to R50.
