The 2023 ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs draw for the semi-finals was held on Thursday afternoon after the last round of group stage games.
The draw, conducted by SAFA took place at Harry Gwala Stadium, in Pietermaritzburg.
Upington City from Northern Cape will take on Mpheni Home Defenders of Limpopo province in the first semi-final. The game will kick off at 11:00.
The hosts Umsinga United, who have had a good run in the tournament, will play Orbit College of North West. Their match, the second semi-final, is set for 15:00.
Harry Gwala Stadium is where the two clashes will take place on Friday.
SEMIFINALS SET BROADCAST LIVE ON SABC
Both matches will broadcast live on SABC Sport.
Umsinga qualified top of Group A with six points winning both of their games, beating Dondol Stars of Gauteng 2-1 and Buffalo FC of Free State 7-1.
On the other hand, Upington topped Group B with four points, having secured a 3-0 win over Young Bafana of Western Cape in their first match and went on to play out a 0-0 draw with Amavarara from Eastern Cape in their last game of the group stage.
Meanwhile, Mpheni were group C winners with four points, equal on point with Orbit College. Goal difference separated the two sides.
Orbit advanced to the semifinals of the national playoffs as the second-best team in the competition.
The two teams to qualify for the finals will gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
The finals will take place at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday, 11 June, with kick-off set for 15:00.
