Sifiso Ngobeni on his progress at Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns defender Sifiso Ngobeni has reflected on his progress in the just-ended PSL season with the Tshwane giants as he started getting some game time.
The 26-year-old returned to Sundowns following a successful loan stint with arch-rivals SuperSport United.
In the just-ended season, the left fullback made 11 appearances for Masandawana in all competitions and provided one assist.
He was battling for a place in the starting line-up with Terrence Mashego and Aubrey Modiba.

“My season was about growth, I was on loan to SuperSport United and I was called back to the team,” said Ngobeni.
“For me it was all about growth and learning and getting gametime. It was hard from day one.
“For me brotherhood in very important because we are helping each other. Everyone is working towards one common goal and for us to achieve that goal everyone has to be in the right space.
“We need to support each other and there has to be no jealousy as to who is playing and who isn’t. It’s very good that we love one another and that’s the biggest thing that will also help us in the next season to continue being brothers.”
WHAT SIFISO NGOBENI NEEDS TO IMPROVE ON
Ngobeni further outlined what he needs to improve on in the next coming season.
“In the coming season, I will do more work. In a big team like Sundowns you need to work hard and you need to keep growing.
“I will continue listening to my coaches, putting in more hard work into my craft,” he added.
