Mosimane’s first words after parting ways with Al Ahli
SA coach Pitso Mosimane has spoken for the first time after parting ways with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
In his eight months with Al Ahli, Mosimane helped the side to gain promotion the Saudi Pro League.
To put a cherry on top, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly mentor won the championship title with Al Ahli in the second-tier league.
With all the success Mosimane had with the side, the two parties decided to go their separate ways despite Mosimane fulfilling the mandate to gain promotion.
According to reports, Mosimane and his staff were allegedly not paid their salaries for months. It was said that the Al Ahli last paid the ex-SuperSport United coach in January.
As a result, Mosimane decided to terminate his contract with the club.
