The coach has opted against renewing his contract with the Tanzanian champions as he looks for the next challenge of his career.

Lea, a commentator described Nabi as a “fantastic” coach who stands his ground and is not afraid to make big decisions.
GEOFFREY LEA WEIGHS IN ON COACH NASREDDINE NABI
“Nabi is a fantastic manager. First of all, I like how bold he is. He is an all-rounder as a manager because I can’t look for weaknesses in his coaching,” said Lea on Metro FM.
“In my country, Yanga has never been known as team that plays positional football. Yanga have always been a team that lies on its basic wingers and strikers who always put the ball in the back of the net. Nabi made Yanga fans to be obsessed with playing positional football.
“He is the man who knows how adopt to different environment. We have never seen Yanga win four away games in any African competition before this season. This was a team that was in shambles when he came.
“He has made them a topic in the African football circles in his two years stay. Another thing about him is that he is not afraid to make big adjustments and not unfazed by big names, and make big decisions.
NASREDDINE NABI PREFERED STYLE OF PLAY
Lea further stated that Nabi is one coach who do not have a particular style of play. However, the coach seems to favour positional football.
One may ask themselves what is positional style of play. Positional football is a style of play that applies to any part of the pitch, from goal-kick restarts, midfield play to the attacking half, and the final third.
“He is a coach who you can say he doesn’t have a particular style. But he seems to be a favour of positional football style of play. This is because that’s what Yanga has been doing especially in the league,” he added.
“And they have been changing that style to a bit counter attacking style when playing away in CAF games.
“If Kaizer Chiefs want their hands on this manager with the quality of players available then good things are coming.”
