Two PSL clubs are tussling for the signature of Richards Bay FC star Sanele Barns ahead of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.

Barns was one of the outstanding players for Richards Bay in their maiden season in SA’s top-flight.

The KZN-based side gained automatic promotion to the Premiership after winning the 2021/22 Motsepe Foundation Championship title.

In the just-ended season, Barns featured in 27 matches in all competitions for Richards Bay, scoring four goals and contributing four assists.

With Barns proving to be one of the exciting players, indications are that two teams have enquired about his services.
