Path clear for Mabotja to join DStv Premiership side

The path is clear for defender Lebogang Mabotja to join a DStv Premiership side following the expiry of his contract with the relegated Marumo Gallants.

Mabotja is a free agent and his future seems to have been decided after he was spotted training with his new club.

Last season, Mabotja was instrumental for Marumo, making 28 league appearances for Bahlabane ba Ntwa.

The talented left-back has started training with DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United after signing with them.

A fortnight ago, this publication reported that the 31-year-old was caught up in a messy transfer saga after signing for two clubs Sekhukhune and Royal AM.

However, it has since emerged that Mabotja rejected the offer from Royal AM, only signing with Babina Noko.
