SuperSport United confirm Margeman contract details

SuperSport United have confirmed the arrival of Grant Margeman from Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership.

Margeman spent the last season on loan with SuperSport, and he was one of the key players as the club finished third on the league table to qualify for the CAF Confederations Cup.

The central midfielder was rewarded for his stellar performance under Gavin Hunt after winning the Player’s Player Award at the club’s end-of-season awards ceremony.

In the 2022/23 campaign, Margeman featured in 26 games for SuperSport and scored two goals while making three assists.

With Margeman impressing on loan at SuperSport last season, he has secured a permanent move away from Mamelodi Sundowns as he was not on the plans of head coach Rulani Mokwena.

The Tshwane-based outfit snapped up Margeman on a three-year deal with an option for a further year.
