Gabuza headlines TS Galaxy’s new signings

Former SuperSport United striker Thamsanqa Gabuza was amongst the new signings unveiled by TS Galaxy on Sunday. Gabuza has been training with Galaxy for some time since parting ways with SuperSport.

Galaxy unveiled their new signings at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium, Kwa Mhlanga in Mpumalanga. It has become a tradition for Galaxy to announce new players in front of their fans, and it was no exception this year as hundreds of fans witnessed the event.

Gabuza joins other signings, such as Mpho Mvelase and Thato Khiba [both Marumo Gallants].

Club boss Tim Sukazi has explained the reasons behind the new signings.

“We looked at the positions where we need players. As you know, we also afforded a good number of our players to play at other clubs,” he said.

“So we had to fill those gaps. We have always wanted one player at centre forward, and we believe Gabuza has the energy and the right attitude to help us. The way we play, he will add value, and we will definitely start scoring goals a lot,” added Sukazi.

Galaxy also unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2023/24 PSL season.

“It’s a fantastic day for us as people of our nation. We are sticking to our origin, our kit speaks to a very highly respectable blanket amongst the Ndebele nation. When you look now, on the neck and on the side of the kit, you see a signature of the Ndebele nation.

“It talks to where we come from, everybody has an origin and a culture, and this is what we represent.”
