Given Msimango opens up on working under Molefi Ntseki
Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango has opened up on working under coach Molefi Ntseki at the club.
Msimango is new at the club having joined the Soweto giants ahead of the current PSL season from TS Galaxy.
As for Ntseki, he has been at the club for two years serving as the Head of the Technical and Youth Development Academy before being appointed head coach ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Msimango has been one of Ntseki’s key and trusted players since the start of the new campaign. The 25-year-old has formed a strong partnership with Thatayaone Ditlhokwe at the heart of the Amakhosi defense.
The centre-back has started and finished all eight matches in all competitions this season in Chiefs colours.
His consistent and solid performances at the back have helped the Glamour Boys to keep four clean sheets in the process.

Despite Ntseki facing criticism from fans, Msimango has described the former Bafana Bafana mentor as a great coach who is experienced and a student of the game.
“It’s fantastic [working under Molefi Ntseki], Ntate Ntseki is a father figure, a teacher, he understands the game very well and he’s very experienced. He’s a former Bafana Bafana coach as well,” said Msimango.
“I think his presence within the club, within the group plays a huge role. He’s having a huge influence in my career and in my development as a player.
“[I’m] so very happy to be working under him.”
MOLEFI NTSEKI FINDING THE RIGHT BALANCE AT KAIZER CHIEFS
Ntseki seems to be finding the right balance at the club despite a slow start that might have brought more pressure on him.
So far, Chiefs are unbeaten in four matches in all competitions following two victories and two stalemates.
To add, there has been a huge improvement in all departments. In terms of attack, the team has been creating scoring opportunities and taking their chances; scoring six goals.
At the back, they are starting to be more consistent as they have kept two clean sheets and let in only one goal.
