Ntseki on how Kaizer Chiefs plan to maintain momentum

Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has explained how his side plans to keep the ball rolling after returning to winning ways.

Amakhosi beat Sekhukhune United 2-1 in the DStv Premiership clash on Wednesday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium to end a four-match winless run.

Prior to Sekhukhune’s outing, the Soweto giants had lost two and drew two of their previous four games. A win over Babina Noko was Chiefs’ fourth in all competitions this season.

Despite having not done well in some of their previous results, Ntseki insisted they’ve been progressing well. He was happy with how they fought back against Sekhukhune on Wednesday.

To keep the momentum going, he said they should approach the upcoming games with the same “attitude, confidence and courage” they had in their previous match.

He added they need a distinct plan for each game depending on who they take on.

MOLEFI NTSEKI SAYS KAIZER CHIEFS ARE PROGRESSING WELL

“I think it is more of a build-up if ever we look back into the last three matches we played in terms of the application and the implementation of our tactical approach,” said Ntseki.

“I think we are progressing in that regard. And even today [Wednesday] as much we conceded first, I think we showed a lot of resilience in terms of coming back and getting ourselves the equalising goal and also leading and ultimately winning the match.

“Like I said it’s a game of moments and the most important thing is how we address those moments. There will be another new game on Tuesday, we have to go back and prepare for that game.

“And I think every game has got its own plan because we’re playing different coaches and different sets of players. But at the same time, we need to work on the team and depend more on the strengths of the team.

“I think it’s a good win after we did not win in the past games. So, the most important things is the attitude, confidence and courage that we showed today. We’re taking it to the next game.”
