La Masia make changes in the coaching department

Motsepe Foundation Championship side La Masia have made changes in the coaching department to continue with the current season.

This was the sixth change in the league after Casric Stars FC replaced their coach, on Wednesday.

The club has since parted ways with coach Delano Hendrick following a poor string of results. The outfit have been struggling for form, consistency, and results since the beginning of the season.

At the moment, they lay ninth on the log standings with eight points from seven matches. They have registered two victories, and two stalemates and suffered three defeats.

La Masiaโ€™s last result may have led to a change in the coaching department as they were humiliated. Last time out they were humbled 4-0 at home by Hungry Lions.

LA MASIA APPOINT DAINE KLAINE AS NEW HEAD COACH

The side also known as MM Platinum has appointed have put their trust in Daine Klate to lead them.

Klate will be the clubโ€™s hope to have more positive results going forward. Last season, they didnโ€™t have a good finish at all. They ended in the bottom half in the 13th position.

This is Klate’s return to the dugout after over a year of parting ways with Chippa United.

THE CLUBS DAINE KLATE HAVE COACHED

Coaching in the National First Division will be Klateโ€™s first gig in the SA second tier.

Previously, the former SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates star was in charge of Chippa United reserve side [DStvDiski Challenge team].

Later on he was in charge of the Chilli Boys’ first team. The 38-year-oldโ€™s stay at Gqeberha didnโ€™t last long.

He was shown the door by club supremo Chippa Mpengesi in just one month to the start season. Klate registered one win, two draws and four draws at his time.
