Former Kaizer Chiefs striker opens up about devastating injury

A former Kaizer Chiefs striker has opened up about his devastating injury setback, describing it as the biggest of his career.

Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana was unlucky as he sustained an injury setback while representing his nation Burundi in the AFCON qualifiers against Cameroon last month.

The knee injury delayed the 25-year-old’s debut for his new team, Libyan powerhouse Al Ahli Benghazi.

He moved to North Africa on a free transfer after he was released by the Glamour Boys at the beginning of the current DStv Premiership season despite netting eight goals in 21 matches last campaign.
