Pitso Mosimane’s winless streak continued on Friday evening as his side, Al Wahda suffered a 2-1 defeat to Al Jazira in the UAE League Cup.
It was a first-leg match of the UAE League Cup quarterfinal. The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach has now gone three games without a win.
Al Jazira took the lead in the 25th minute through a goal from Ouma Traore when Ali Mabkhout converted from the penalty spot to make it 2-0.
Mosimane’s men pulled one back in the 41st minute. However, they were unable to find an equaliser despite creating a number of chances in the second half.
