Ben Motshwari’s feelings ahead of facing former side Pirates
AmaZulu FC midfielder Ben Motshwari has shared his feelings ahead of taking on his former employers Orlando Pirates.
Usuthu and the Buccaneers will face off on Tuesday, 24 October in the DStv Premiership at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 7:30 pm.
Both sides were in action in the Carling Knockout Cup this past weekend. AmaZulu eliminated Kaizer Chiefs while the Sea Robbers defeated Cape Town Spurs.
Motshwari played his first full 90 minutes against the Urban Warriors and will be looking to haunt his former side on Tuesday.
He has insisted that knowing the Pirates’ strengths and weaknesses doesn’t give him an advantage as they tweak their style of play each and every game.

“It’s not gonna be easy because tactics change and football revolves each and everyday,” Motshwari said in the media open on Tuesday.
“I think they will come with something new tomorrow even though they have been playing the same way. But here and there, there are certain changes they do in each and every game.
“But the focus has to be on us not on them most of the time. For us, we have to focus on our game.”
Motshwari admitted Pirates would be a tough task considering their confidence after winning the MTN8 trophy.
‘THEY ARE HAVING A GOOD RUN’
“Obviously it’s gonna be a difficult one because they are having a good run and recently they just won the trophy,” he said.
“The focus is more on us we believe in ourselves. We believe that we can try and match them tomorrow night especially coming from the win.
“That’s a boost for us in terms of confidence. It’s gonna be a trick one but we know how they play. They play quick and love to ratate the ball quickly, creating spaces behind our defenders.
“It’s something that we have to try and manage.”
