Former Orlando Pirates captain Edelbert Dinha says it’s sad to see his compatriot Khama Billiat failing to find a team in the DStv Premiership or abroad.
The 33-year-old Khama Billiat has been without a club since leaving Kaizer Chiefs after his contract expired at the end of June.
The Soweto giants were reported to be keen to keep Billiat at Naturena, but they disagreed on the Zimbabwean international’s financial demand.
The talented midfielder, who spent five years with Amakhosi, was also linked with a move to Turkey, the Middle East, and Egyptian giants Zamalek, but that also did not materialise, and now the Harare-born star has spent a year without playing competitive football.
And now some believe his value is dropping and he should find a team ASAP.

Many football fans wonder where the 2016 PSL Player of the Season and PSL Player of the Season is.
And recently, there have been reports that the former Mamelodi Sundowns player might join Cape Town City, owned by John Comitis.
Comitis is the one who first brought Billiat to South Africa while still owning Ajax Cape Town in 2010 from Zimbabwean outfit CAPS United.
“I don’t know where Khama is, but I am sure everyone is eager to see him playing football again,” said the former Pirates captain.
“It is sad to see him not playing, and I hope he can find a team soon.”
In his 13 years playing in the Premiership, Billiat mostly enjoyed his time at Sundowns, where he spent five years winning three PSL titles, one Nedbank Cup, one Telkom Knockout, the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup.
At Chiefs, Billiat, capped 43 times for Zimbabwe, never lifted any silverware as he was troubled by injuries.
