Rulani Mokwena comments on Sirino’s work ethic after smoking peace pipe

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has commented on Gaston Sirino’s work ethic in recent matches after the two smoked the peace pipe.

This comes after the talented winger, Sirino apologised for reportedly requesting to leave the Tshwane giants in the last transfer window period.

The Uruguayan footballer returned to action last week Wednesday when Sundowns succumbed to a 5-4 defeat on penalties to TS Galaxy following a 2-2 draw after extra-time.

And he was in action when Sundowns played out to a 0-0 draw with Petro de Luanda in the second leg of the African Football League quarter-finals on Tuesday night.

The 32-year-old started with the game when Masandawana booked their semi-final spot in the African Football League with a 2-0 victory on aggregate over the Angolan side.

As a result, the Brazilians will face arch-rivals Al Ahly of Egypt in the semi-finals.
