PSL confirm Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final details

The stage is set for the next round of the Carling Knockout Cup as the PSL on Thursday confirmed the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the quarter-final fixtures.

Only eight DStv Premiership teams are left in the newly formed competition and the quarter-final encounters will be played on the weekend of 3rd and 4th November.

CARLING KNOCKOUT CUP QUARTER-FINAL DETAILS

The first match will be between league returnees Polokwane City FC against Cape Windlands outfit Stellenbosch FC.

The game will be played on Friday 3 November at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane. Kick-off is set for 7:30pm.

On Saturday 4 November, there will be a double-header at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Firstly, Richards Bay FC will lock horns against Soweto giants Orlando Pirates. The two sides will be facing each other for the first time this season. Kickoff is scheduled for 3pm.

The second match will be the KZN derby as AmaZulu FC and Golden Arrows renew their rivalry. The two will also be meeting for the first time this campaign. The match will start at 7pm.

The last quarter-final match between Sekhukhune United and TS Galaxy will be played also on Saturday at New Peter Mokaba Stadium at 8pm.

Babina Noko and The Rockets will first meet in the league on Sunday 29 October.

INFORMATION ON TICKETS

The PSL also revealed that fans will buy their tickets at TicketPro outlets countrywide, once they announce their availability.

For Rise and Shine against Stellies tie, tickets will be R50.

For the Moses Mabhida double-header Rich Natal Boys vs The Sea Robbers and Usuthu vs Abafana Bes’thende it will be R80 for all-day access.

Lastly, Sekhukhune against Galaxy tickets will be sold at R50 also.
